During Ms. Lasko’s tenure as Executive Secretary, she helped establish Mortar Board Week and aided in adding anti-discrimination language to the Mortar Board Bylaws. She also brought the first computer to the National Office in the 1980s!

Ms. Walls was selected as Mortar Board's first Executive Secretary (now Executive Director). She opened the Mortar Board National Office on September 1, 1970 to centralize records, be a clearinghouse for information, coordinate national affairs, and facilitate efficient operations. Ms. Walls was highly regarded for her thoroughness and kindness.

Ms. Simic is a Trustee on the Mortar Board National Foundation. Prior to her role at Grenzebach Glier & Associates, she was Vice President of University Advancement at Boise State University. She also serves as Director of the Idaho Women's Charitable Foundation, a Board of Directors member of Boise Art Museum and Opera Idaho, and a Development Committee member of the Idaho Youth Ranch.

Ms. MacKenzie is a Mortar Board National Foundation Trustee and past-President of Mortar Board National Council. She has been involved in Mortar Board since her years as a collegiate member, starting her first national leadership role in the 1970s as a Section Coordinator. She helped establish and has been a big supporter of the Oklahoma Baptist University Chapter Endowment Fund.
