About the keynote speaker: Tamara L. McMillan, M.S., CPSC, CLC, Ph.D., is a distinguished author and an accomplished Lecturer with an affinity for knowledge dissemination. With a career spanning over 18 years in both the corporate and higher education realms, Tamara has honed her skills in leading, speaking, training, and facilitation. Renowned for her unwavering passion, Tamara specializes in leadership development and innovative problem-solving techniques, delivering captivating learning experiences through learn-shops and seminars.

Tamara’s academic journey is marked by a master’s degree in Student Personnel Administration, complemented by a bachelor’s degree in political science, both earned at Buffalo State University. Her commitment to lifelong learning is further evidenced by an advanced Creativity and Change Leadership certificate from the International Center for Studies in Creativity. Dr. McMillan’s scholarly pursuits culminated in a doctorate from the University of the Virgin Islands, where she conducted groundbreaking research on the profound impact of failure.
