Your Story... Our History
The Mortar Board experience is one of dedication, impact, and excellence. Every member has a story—a story of achievement, leadership, and a commitment to making a difference through service. We want to give you an opportunity to share your unique connection to Mortar Board. This oral history project allows alumni to tell their Mortar Board story in their own words. Once collected, these stories will be compiled into a book that honors our organization and celebrates the lasting legacy of Mortar Board members.
This project is made possible through a partnership between Mortar Board team and Publishing Concepts, Inc. (PCI). In addition to capturing these inspiring stories, PCI will assist with collecting updated biographical information from alumni, ensuring we maintain accurate records and stay connected with Mortar Board members across the nation and beyond.
How to Share Your Story
Mortar Board members will be receiving a postcard and email from PCI (example pictured below) with more information on how to share their story. Stories will be collected via a phone call with a trained member of the PCI team.
What to Look For
PCI has currently been sending postcards (example shown below) and emails to our members. Simply follow the steps to update your information and set up a time to share your story with one of their staff members.
